What should I expect from a participant intro call?
After you submit an interest form and we review your information, we may invite you to a brief phone conversation to learn more about you, what you’re hoping to find through an intergenerational connection, and answer any questions you have about Light Between. This is not a therapy or counseling session, and it is not a meeting with a potential match.
After You Book
You’ll receive a confirmation email with the details for your participant intro call. There’s nothing you need to complete beforehand. During the call, we’ll get to know you a little better, learn what you’re hoping to give and receive through an intergenerational connection, and answer any questions you may have. If Light Between seems like a good fit, we’ll send you a participant intake form afterward to learn more about your interests, preferences, availability, and matching considerations. We look forward to getting to know you.

Light Between connections can take place by phone, video call, or in person when both participants are comfortable and nearby. Our first 18+ pilot is currently beginning in California, with virtual expansion to other areas planned for the future. For in-person connections, participants choose a comfortable public or community setting that works for both people.
